The Volusia County Health Department’s HIV/AIDS Program provides intervention and prevention services for Area 12 which includes both Volusia and Flagler Counties. Program staff works cooperatively with local providers, community service agencies, and area colleges to reach as many at risk individuals as possible.

SPECIFIC SERVICES OFFERED

Jail-based HIV Prevention and Testing*

The Jail-based HIV Prevention Program offers HIV counseling and testing, education, literature, condoms, condom negotiation skills, and linkage to needed services for individuals who are incarnated within the Volusia County Branch Jail. Linkage to appropriate services is also facilitated for individuals upon release.
*Services are for incarcerated and newly released individuals.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Services are provided to Volusia and Flagler County residents.
